Tender Description
The Gilgit Botanical Garden is procuring SMDs and sign boards for a period of three years from 15 July 2026 to 14 June 2029. This procurement is specifically for the installation and maintenance of various sizes of sign boards within the Botanical Garden in Gilgit. The scope includes 17 sign boards sized 3 feet by 6 feet, one board sized 40 feet by 3 feet, and another sized 38 feet by 3 feet. The project requires suppliers to provide high-quality materials and ensure the structural stability of the SMDs and sign boards as per the technical specifications.
Interested bidders must be registered with the relevant PEC category and have valid FBR and ATL registration. Experience in similar projects involving outdoor signage and electrical installations is essential. Earnest Money in the form of a CDR amounting to Rs. 500,000 is required to be submitted with the bid. The technical bid will be evaluated first, followed by the financial bid of technically qualified bidders. The submission deadline is 29 June 2026, and bids must be submitted to the office of the Gilgit Botanical Garden before the closing date.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that all documentation, including the structure stability certificate and technical specifications, are complete and compliant with the tender requirements. Late submissions or incomplete bids will be rejected. Also, bidders should carefully review the maintenance obligations over the three-year period to avoid penalties. This tender offers a valuable opportunity for suppliers specializing in electrical signage and outdoor advertising solutions to work with a prestigious department in Gilgit.
