Tender Description
The Irrigation Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites electronic bids from eligible firms and contractors for the construction of solar based irrigation tube wells and the solarization of existing electricity tube wells in merged districts, specifically in District Kurram. This procurement is being conducted through the Single Stage Single Envelope procedure on the EPAD System. The works are open to contractors who have renewed their enlistment and possess a valid PEC license in the relevant category (C-6 & above with CE-04) for the year 2026-27, and are registered with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPPRA) as well as being active taxpayers with the Income Tax Department.
Items being procured:
- Construction of 01 No. New Solar Based Irrigation Tube Well at Shnai Sehra in Upper Kurram (Package-1)
- Solarization of Existing Tube Well at Spin Khel Banda in Upper Kurram
- 04 Nos. of Solarization of Existing Irrigation Tube Wells in District Kurram (Civil Work)
The estimated cost for the works is Rs. 7.448 Million. Earnest Money of Rs. 157,960 plus stamp duty is required, and the cost of the tender form is Rs. 2,235. All bidders must submit their bids electronically via the EPADS system and also provide sealed hard copies by post, courier, or representative to the office of the undersigned before the deadline. The last date and time for submission of bids is 16-09-2026 at 12:00 Noon, with bid opening on the same day at 12:30 PM. Bidding documents and terms can be downloaded from the official EPADS website, the Irrigation Department website (www.irrigation.gkp.pk), or the KPPRA website (kppra.gov.pk).
Bidders must ensure compliance with all KPPRA rules and notifications, including those regarding debarment and blacklisting. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 02-09-2026 at 11:30 AM. Bids will be valid for 120 days. For abnormally low bids, KAPRA Notification S.R.O (14)/Vol:1-24/2021-22, Dated: 10-05-2022 will be enforced. A practical tip: Ensure your PEC registration and KPPRA registration are up to date and that all required documents, including CDR and tender entry fee, are submitted both electronically and in hard copy to avoid bid rejection.
