This tender is specifically for the financial year 2025-2026 and aims to improve infrastructure and support local development through renewable energy and essential equipment.
The technical scope includes installation of solar street lights across multiple villages, ensuring sustainable and energy-efficient lighting solutions. Additionally, the supply of sewing machines is intended to support local livelihoods and cottage industries. The project completion time is set at 36 months from the award of contract, reflecting a substantial scale and long-term commitment.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category, hold valid registration with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and Active Taxpayer List (ATL), and have at least three years of relevant experience with a turnover for the last three years. A bid security of 5% of the tender cost is required, along with a non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 3000. Bidders must submit their bids through the EPADS online system; manual submissions will not be accepted.
The tender was published on 23rd April 2026, with the submission deadline on 7th May 2026 at 11:00 AM and bid opening at 11:30 AM on the same day at the Office of the District Council Dadu. Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their technical and financial bids, ensuring all documents including CDR and affidavits are complete and submitted on time.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure early registration and payment of the tender fee on EPADS to avoid last-minute technical issues. Also, thorough documentation of past experience and PEC credentials will strengthen the technical bid and improve chances of success.
