Prequalification of Solar Vendors for Rooftop Solar Systems up to 3.5 KVA in Gilgit and Hunza

The Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP) is inviting registered solar firms for prequalification as approved suppliers under the Accelerate Clean Energy (ACE) Initiative. This tender focuses on rooftop solar systems with a capacity of up to 3.5 KVA specifically for the regions of Gilgit and Hunza. The procurement is managed by AKRSP based in Gilgit, Gilgit-Baltistan. Items being procured: - Rooftop solar systems up to 3.5 KVA The technical scope requires firms to have operational offices in both Gilgit and Hunza, a trained technical workforce, and the ability to supply and install rooftop solar systems. Eligible firms must hold valid SECP, FBR, and PEC registrations and have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in solar energy systems. Applications must be submitted in hard copy, sealed and clearly marked as PREQUALIFICATION – ACE SOLAR VENDOR. This prequalification process is crucial for firms aiming to participate in the ACE Initiative, which promotes clean energy solutions in the region. The submission deadline is the 31st of July, 2026. Incomplete or late submissions will not be entertained. The minimum passing score for technical evaluation is 70%, and all documents must remain valid for 90 days.
