Tender Description

The Executive Engineer Education Works (E) Division Larkano is procuring solarization works for GGHS and GBHS single section schools located in Shahdadkot, Sindh. This project is part of the 2022-23 programme funded under the District ADP Scheme for the financial year 2025-26 with an estimated cost of **PKR 3,000,000**. The scope includes providing and fixing high-quality Mono Perc Grade A Tier solar panels ranging from 550 to 650 Watts, installation and commissioning of high-efficiency hybrid inverters rated IP65 (10 KW) with a 5-year warranty, and supplying 48 volts 100 Amp lithium-ion batteries. The balance of system includes ground-mounted structures for 6 KW to 10 KW capacity and complete wiring and installation as approved by the Engineer Incharge. Eligible bidders must have valid NTN, FBR and SRB registration, and an Electric Inspectorate License for the concerned region. Experience in similar nature of works executed in the last five years is mandatory, with at least one work costing 80% of the estimated cost or two works each costing 50%. The average annual financial turnover should not be less than the project cost during the last five years. Bidders must submit their tenders in properly sealed envelopes with bid security of 5% of the estimated cost. All bids must be signed, stamped, and accompanied by an authorization letter if signed by a representative. The deadline for submission is **7 days after the publish date**, with bids to be submitted at the Office of the Executive Engineer, Education Works Electrical Division Larkano near High Court Building, CMC Road Larkano. The contract period is 15 months from the written order to commence. Earnest Money in the form of bid security and a performance security of 5% of the bid amount will be required. Income tax, SRB tax, and security deposit deductions will apply as per government rules. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all corrections in the bid documents are clearly re-written with initials and stamps to avoid rejection. Also, timely submission before the deadline is critical as late bids will be returned unopened.
