Tender Description
The Punjab Highways Department invites tenders from Engineering Firms and Contractors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category for the Financial Year 2026-27. The procurement is for the special repair and construction of a 12-foot span culvert at KM No.2 on the road from Francisanabad to Naroki in Tehsil and District Gujranwala. This work is under the Executive Engineer Road Construction Division Gujranwala.

The contract duration is 2 months. Bidders must submit a bid security equal to 5% of the estimated cost through the Punjab e-Procurement System only, with no manual bid or banking instruments accepted. A performance guarantee of 10% of the contract amount is mandatory within 15 days of the offer letter. Bidders must quote item rates against each item and total amounts in the financial proposal. Rates quoted above or below the estimated cost will not be accepted.
Bids will be submitted digitally via the Punjab e-Procurement System (www.ep.punjab.gov.pk). The opening of bids will be on 06.10.2026 at 12:30 PM at the office of the Executive Engineer Road Construction Division Gujranwala. Contractors or authorized representatives may attend the bid opening at 1:00 PM at the office of the Superintending Engineer Highway Circle Gujranwala.
Eligibility requires valid PEC registration, FBR registration, and earnest money submission. Contractor claims and payments will be processed electronically through the Digital Measurement Book. No price variation is allowed on special repair and maintenance works as per Finance Department notification.
