Tender Description
This tender invites contractors registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the execution of special repair and maintenance works at quarters No. 47-B, 48-B, and 119-B located in IESCO Colony G-7/4 Islamabad. The Islamabad Electric Supply Company Limited (IESCO) requires comprehensive civil works including dismantling, plastering, flooring, RCC work, steel fabrication, woodwork, painting, plumbing, and electrical wiring. The project demands skilled workmanship and quality materials to ensure durability and compliance with engineering standards in the Islamabad Capital Territory.
The scope covers a variety of tasks such as cement concrete works, glazed tile flooring, steel door fabrication, plumbing fittings, electrical installations, and finishing works. The site is situated in a residential colony, requiring careful coordination and adherence to safety and quality norms. Contractors must be PEC registered with at least Category C-6 and specialization CE-10, and must provide evidence of financial capability and prior experience in similar government or semi-government projects.
Bidders should ensure their PEC registration is renewed for the 2025-26 fiscal year and maintain active registration with PRA and FBR. Compliance with FBR/ATL requirements and submission of a valid bank balance certificate up to 50% of the estimated cost is mandatory. The tender requires a 4% earnest money deposit in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) and a 10% performance security upon award. Bids below 10% of the NIT amount require additional performance guarantees.
The submission deadline is set for 15th April 2026, with bid opening at 11:30 AM on the same day at the Chief Engineer (O&M) office, Street No. 40, Sector G/7-4, Islamabad. Bids must be submitted electronically via E-PADS portal and accompanied by original bid security and non-refundable printing charges paid in cash at the Executive Engineer Civil Division IESCO office. Only sealed bids complying with PPRA rules will be accepted.
Pro-Tip: Ensure all bid documents are complete and signed, and pay special attention to the additional call deposit requirements for bids below 10% of the NIT amount, as failure to comply will lead to rejection. Also, verify the latest PEC category and PRA/FBR registrations to avoid disqualification.
