Tender Description
This tender invites qualified civil contractors in Lahore for the establishment of a Stem Cells cGMP Clean Room Facility under the Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB), University of the Punjab. The project involves specialized construction and installation works focused on clean room infrastructure, HVAC systems, epoxy flooring, electrical fittings, and stainless steel cleanroom accessories.
The scope covers installation of double skinned DX Air Handling Units with HEPA filtration, ductwork with high-quality GI steel, epoxy self-leveling flooring, and advanced electrical systems tailored for laboratory environments. The clean room panels include insulated wall and roof panels with tempered GMP grade glass, along with pass boxes and air showers to maintain contamination control. The site is located at 87-West Canal Bank Road, Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore, requiring contractors to manage engineering challenges related to precision installation and compliance with cGMP standards.
Bidders must be registered contractors on the active taxpayers list (ATL) of FBR and comply with PEC requirements for the 2025-26 financial year. Earnest money of 2% of the estimated cost must be submitted as a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) in favor of the Director CEMB. The tender fee is PKR 1000, non-refundable. Contractors should ensure all bid documents are typed and complete, as incomplete or conditional tenders will be rejected.
The submission deadline is on the 2nd of February 2026 at 10:00 AM, with technical bids opening at 10:30 AM on the same day at the Purchase Section, CEMB, Lahore.
