Tender Description
The Military Lands and Cantonments Department Cantonment Board Malir Karachi is procuring various store items specifically for the removal of offals during the Eid-ul-Azha-2026 operation. This procurement is focused on ensuring cleanliness and proper waste management in Malir Cantonment during this significant religious event.
The technical scope includes a wide range of cleaning and operational items such as lime powder, brooms, sanghi and bailcha with handles, hand carts, phenyl and acid bottles, iron hooks, uniform jackets, detergent powder, tents with tables and chairs, lunch packets with water bottles, hand pamphlets, and banners of various sizes. The quantities vary from a few dozen to several thousand units, indicating a large-scale operation.
Eligible bidders must be registered suppliers, contractors, wholesalers, original equipment manufacturers, or authorized dealers with valid registration certificates. They must be on the Active Taxpayers List of the Federal Board of Revenue and provide evidence of similar services undertaken in the last three years. Financial stability, technical and administrative staff credentials, and a no-dispute certificate are also required.
The tender form can be obtained from the Cantonment Board Malir office upon payment of Rs 1,000. Bids must be submitted in a single stage two-envelope procedure, with separate technical and financial proposals. The bid security is 5% of the quoted bid cost. Bids will be opened publicly at the specified time and date, and must be valid for 90 days.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that all documents are complete, properly signed, and free from overwriting or cutting to avoid disqualification. Also, submitting a well-organized technical bid with clear evidence of past experience and financial stability will enhance the chances of success.
The submission deadline is strictly enforced, and all bids must be delivered to the Cantonment Board Malir office in Karachi. This is a valuable opportunity for suppliers experienced in janitorial and operational supplies to participate in a significant government procurement with clear evaluation criteria and transparent procedures.
