Tender Description
The Town Municipal Corporation Manghopir (West) Karachi is procuring services for providing, fixing, repair, and maintenance of the street lights system specifically for the holy occasion at Imam Bargah Hassan Askari Sector 7/A and its surrounding areas in Karachi. This tender invites experienced firms to undertake electrical works involving installation and maintenance of street lighting systems to ensure proper illumination during the event.
The technical scope includes supply and installation of main and sub-main PVC insulated copper conductors, 10-amps switch on/off systems, moon lights with LED bulbs, IPC connectors, LED flood lights of 200 watts, and PVC tape for connections. All works must be carried out as per site requirements and under the supervision of the engineering in-charge. The contract duration is 45 days with a penalty of Rs. 500 per day for delays.
Eligible bidders must hold a valid PEC license in category C-06 or above with relevant electrical specialization. They must also provide NTN certificate, professional tax, Sindh Revenue Board certificate, bank statements, and demonstrate relevant experience with a minimum turnover of three years. Additionally, compliance with Rule 48 of Electricity Rules 1937 is mandatory, requiring a valid Sindh Government Electrical Contractor License.
The tender documents are available from 7th June to 22nd June 2026 during office hours at the TMC Manghopir (West) office. Bids must be submitted by 12:00 PM on 22nd June 2026 and will be opened at 12:30 PM the same day in the presence of bidders. The bid security is 5% of the estimated cost in the form of pay order or bank guarantee.
