Procurement of Student Kits, Printing of Prospectus and Student Handbooks

Dawood University of Engineering & Technology (DUET), Karachi is inviting bids for the procurement of student kits along with the printing of prospectus and student handbooks. This procurement is aimed at supporting the academic and administrative needs of the university for the upcoming academic year. The items being procured include: - Student Kits: 1000 backpacks made of waterproof artificial leather or equivalent material with DUET logo and vision statement printing (sample approval required), transparent pouches containing stationery items such as HB pencils, erasers, highlighters, small tissue packs with DUET branding, and 600 ML water bottles of good quality temperature bottles. - Printing of DUET Prospectus: 175+ pages, size A-4, printed on 115 gsm matt paper with 350 gsm art card for the title, matt lamination, spot UV, and 4 color printing. - Printing of Student Handbooks: 80+ pages, size A-5, printed on 115 gsm matt paper with 350 gsm art card for the title, matt lamination, spot UV, and 4 color printing. The technical scope includes the supply of high-quality materials for the backpacks and stationery, professional printing services with specific paper quality and finishing, and timely delivery within 15 days after sample approval and submission of printing data. The procurement requires bidders to have at least 5 years of relevant experience, valid FBR and GST registration, and active tax payer status. Samples of all items must be submitted with the bid for evaluation. The bid security is 3% of the offered cost, and performance security is 5% of the contract price. Bidders must submit their bids online through the SPPRA EPADS portal and provide original pay orders for bid security and tender fee to the Director (Works & Services) at DUET Karachi. The submission deadline is strictly enforced, and late bids will be rejected. Bidders are advised to carefully review the eligibility criteria and ensure compliance with all technical specifications and submission requirements.
