Tender Description
The High Commission for Pakistan in London invites qualified suppliers to tender for the supply of material and stores as per the attached schedule to tender, specifically for export to Pakistan. This procurement is for the Pakistan Navy and includes the following items:
- Buoyancy Bags Optimist Boat 990MM x 280MM (39" x 11") (Quantity: 50 each)
- Trapeze Set Complete Part SS 19,38 (Quantity: 4 each)
- Life Jacket Sailing Zhik Small (Quantity: 38 each)
The technical scope requires OEM certified stores to be accepted on DPL-15. Packaging must be legible and fragile stores should be marked with appropriate international symbols to ensure safe transport and handling.
Bidders must prepare their tenders in sealed envelopes clearly marked 'Tender Inside' and submit them by 1130 hours on 2nd October 2023. The tenders will be opened the same day at 1230 hours. Late bids will not be accepted. This tender is being managed by the Attaché Defence Procurement at the High Commission for Pakistan, London.
Eligibility criteria include compliance with OEM certification and adherence to packing and marking instructions. Bidders should ensure timely submission to avoid disqualification. The tender documents and further details are available on the PPRA website.
A practical tip for bidders is to carefully check the packaging and marking requirements to avoid rejection during inspection, as fragile items must be clearly identified with international symbols. Ensuring compliance with these instructions will facilitate smooth customs clearance and acceptance by the Pakistan Navy.
