Tender Description

Gujranwala Electric Power Company Limited (GEPCO) invites registered and prequalified firms including DISCOs, NTDC, WAPDA, GENCOs, and PPMC authorized dealers and manufacturers to submit electronic bids for the supply of cables and conductors at GEPCO Warehouse Wazirabad. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 with reserved funds allocated by PMU GEPCO. Items being procured: - Grounding Conductor 95mm (18500 Mtrs) - All. Conductor 600mm (1500 Mtrs) - 1000 MCM Power Cable S/C (7000 Mtrs) - 500 MCM Power Cable S/C (10000 Mtrs) - Control Cable 4x2.5mm² (9000 Mtrs) - Control Cable 8x2.5mm² (2500 Mtrs) - Control Cable 16x2.5mm² (6500 Mtrs) - Control Cable 4x6mm² (8500 Mtrs) The procurement scope covers supply of electrical cables and conductors with specified sizes and quantities. Bidders must submit bids through the EPADS v2.0 platform using a Single Stage-Two Envelope procedure under the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with Public Procurement Rules 2004 and related regulations. All bids require accompanying bid security as per bidding documents, and must include a technical proposal. Only type-tested equipment from NTDC designated laboratories with valid type test reports will be accepted. Eligibility criteria include registration on EPADS v2.0, valid FBR/ATL status, and compliance with bid security requirements. Bidders must have an average annual turnover as specified for each lot and meet delivery timelines of 120 days from purchase order issuance. The bid opening date is 30th July 2026 at specified times for each lot. Bids must be valid for 60 days with bid guarantees valid for 28 days beyond bid validity. Bidders should regularly check EPADS for clarifications and submit queries at least three days before tender opening. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all bid documents are complete and uploaded correctly on EPADS with the firm’s name and brief file description to avoid disqualification.
