Supply of Cast Iron and Cutting Disc

Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited (KSEW) Karachi invites qualified suppliers to submit their bids for the supply of Cast Iron and Cutting Disc on free delivery basis at KSEW. This procurement is under the Purchase Department of KSEW located in Karachi, Sindh. The tender follows a Single Stage (Two Envelope) Bidding process requiring separate Technical and Commercial offers. Items being procured: - Cast Iron (100,000 Kgs as per attached specification and annex) - Cutting Disc (as per attached specification of 2 pages) The technical scope includes supplying brand new, defect-free materials conforming to KSEW specifications. For Cast Iron, a 1 Kg sample is mandatory at technical bid submission, with delivery within 7 days after purchase order issuance. For Cutting Disc, a sample and technical brochure must be provided with the quotation, and delivery is expected within 15 days after purchase order. Supplier warranty/guarantee for 12 months is required besides OEM warranty, with detailed justification if not applicable. Delivery of sodium silicate will be free of cost at KSEW. GST and NTN numbers must be mentioned in the offer. Eligibility criteria include valid NTN and GST registration, compliance with KSEW specifications, and submission of earnest money of Rs. 200,000 in the form of a Pay Order. Firms must confirm validity of offers for at least 60 days from commercial/financial opening. Integrity Pact is required for contracts exceeding Rs. 10 million. The tender documents can be purchased for Rs. 2,000 each from the Procurement Department.
