Tender Description
The Inspector General Prisons Head Quarters in Quetta, Balochistan, is inviting bids for the supply of clothing and liveries. This procurement is specifically for the provision of two classes of items related to clothing and liveries required by the department. The tender follows the Balochistan Public Procurement Rules 2014 and mandates registration on the Electronic Public Procurement System of BPPRA GOB for all bidders, whether submitting electronically or manually.
The technical scope includes supplying quality clothing and liveries as per the department's specifications. Bidders must ensure compliance with the required standards and provide a bid security of 2% of the bid value in the form of a deposit at call from a scheduled bank. The bidding firm must have completed at least three assignments of similar nature and complexity with a turnover of at least PKR 3,000,000 in the previous three financial years. Active registration on the Active Taxpayer List and possession of a valid sales tax certificate are mandatory. Joint ventures are not permissible, and firms currently blacklisted by any procuring agency in Pakistan will be disqualified.
Tender documents can be obtained from the office of the undersigned upon payment of a non-refundable fee of PKR 1,000. The issuance period is from the date of publication until 19 May 2026 during office hours on working days. The last date for bid submission is 19 May 2026 by 10:30 AM, with tender opening scheduled the same day at 11:00 AM at the Inspectorate General of Prisons office on Samungli Road, Quetta.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that the bid security is properly submitted as required. Failure to provide the bid security during financial evaluation will result in disqualification. Careful attention to the bid submission deadline and completeness of documents will enhance the chances of success in this tender.
