Tender Description
The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) Lahore office is procuring diesel fuel for its generator sets to ensure uninterrupted power supply at its facilities. This procurement is critical for maintaining operational efficiency and supporting the energy infrastructure in the region.
The scope includes the supply and delivery of high-quality diesel fuel suitable for industrial generators. The diesel must meet specified standards to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the equipment. The delivery will be made to designated WAPDA sites in Lahore, with quantities and schedules detailed in the tender documents.
Eligible bidders must possess a valid PEC registration in the relevant category and be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Experience in supplying fuel to government or large industrial clients will be advantageous. Bidders should also provide an earnest money deposit (CDR) as specified.
The tender documents can be obtained from the WAPDA procurement office. The submission deadline is clearly stated as 30th June 2024 by 23:59:59. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the designated address before the closing date. Late submissions will not be entertained.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that all technical and financial documents are complete and properly signed. Incomplete bids or missing CDRs can lead to disqualification. Early submission is recommended to avoid last-minute issues. This tender offers a valuable opportunity for suppliers specializing in fuel to engage with a major government authority and secure a contract worth **PKR 5 Million**.
