Tender Description
The Hazara Electric Supply Company (HAZECO) based in Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is procuring Earthwire (9mm²) bare copper electrical cable as per WAPDA/NTDC specifications amended to date. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2025-26 and aims to supply 5070 meters of high-quality earthwire cable to support electrical infrastructure needs in the region.
The technical scope includes supplying cables that meet stringent NTDC/WAPDA standards, ensuring durability, safety, and performance. The supplier must provide valid type test reports from accredited laboratories and comply with all quality assurance procedures. Inspection will be conducted at the manufacturer's premises with prior notice. The warranty period is 24 months from acceptance or 18 months from installation, whichever is earlier.
Eligible bidders must have relevant PEC categories, FBR registration, and proven experience supplying similar materials with satisfactory operational certificates from DISCOs, NTDC, or WAPDA. Joint ventures are allowed with clear lead member designation. The bid security must be submitted as per the bidding documents.
Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 12:30 PM, with bid opening at 1:00 PM the same day. Manual submissions are not accepted. The submission address for bid security hard copies is HAZECO HQ, Gulistan Colony, College Road, Abbottabad. Bidders should register on EPADS and ensure compliance with all documentation requirements including technical and financial proposals.
