Supply of Fresh and Dry Food Items

The Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIKI) located in Topi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites eligible firms and suppliers to prequalify for the supply of fresh and dry food items. This procurement is aimed at sourcing reliable suppliers who can provide quality food products to the institute, supporting its operational needs. Items being procured: - Fresh Items (Fresh Fruits, Vegetables, Beef & Mutton) - Dry Items (Spices (Masalas), Pulses, Beans, Rice, Grains, Sugar, Salt, and other dry grocery/ration items) The scope includes the supply of fresh fruits, vegetables, beef, and mutton alongside a variety of dry grocery items such as spices, pulses, beans, rice, grains, sugar, and salt. Suppliers must ensure the freshness and quality of perishable goods and the authenticity and standard of dry items. The contract is initially for one year, extendable based on satisfactory performance and approval by the competent authority. Eligibility criteria require applicants to be registered with relevant tax authorities, possessing valid NTN and GST registration. Suppliers may apply for one or both categories with separate sealed and clearly marked envelopes for each. A minimum of five years of relevant experience in supplying fresh and/or dry food items to reputable organizations, institutions, universities, hotels, or similar establishments is mandatory. Prequalification documents can be obtained from the procurement office during office hours or downloaded from the GIKI website. Sealed applications must be submitted by 1500 hours on July 29, 2026. Late submissions will not be entertained. A non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 2,000 is required with the application. For bidders, it is crucial to carefully prepare separate envelopes for each category applied for and ensure timely submission before the deadline. This will avoid disqualification due to procedural errors and enhance chances of successful prequalification.
