Supply of High Density Polyethylene Blow Grade

Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO) Karachi is procuring High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Blow Grade material on FOR basis. This procurement is specifically for supplying Sabic 5429 / Marlex 5502 (HHM 5502BN) or equivalent Blow Grade with strict specifications including density 0.954 - 0.955 Kg/m3, melt flow index 0.3 - 0.35 gm/10 min, tensile strength 27 - 32 MPa, and process temperature 165 - 215°C. The material must be compatible with mineral and synthetic lubricants and packed in 25Kg bags. Delivery is required within 60 days after issuance of the Purchase Order. The scope includes supply of 50 metric tons of HDPE Blow Grade with quality assurance through product quality/analysis reports accompanying each consignment. PSO reserves the right to test material quality independently and impose penalties or blacklisting for non-compliance or substandard quality. Part delivery and payment are allowed with minimum quantity of 5 MT per delivery. All government taxes and transportation charges are included in the quoted rates. Eligible bidders should be registered with FBR and have relevant experience in supplying industrial polymers or similar materials. Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) or Bid Security Deposit (BSD) percentage is applicable as per PSO terms. The technical bid must comply with PSO specifications and quality standards. The submission deadline is 16th June 2026 by 2:15 PM at PSO House, Khayaban-e-Iqbal, Clifton, Karachi. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely delivery and maintain consistent quality as PSO imposes liquidated damages of 0.1% per day up to 10% of order value for delays or quality failures. Providing complete and accurate technical documentation with the bid will enhance chances of acceptance. Strict adherence to PSO terms and conditions including quality control and delivery schedule is critical for successful contract execution.
