Tender Description
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO) invites quotations for the supply, installation, and commissioning of a Fall Arrestor System at Nur Khan and Peshawar Aviation Stations. This turnkey project involves comprehensive civil works, steel structure fabrication, and engineering consultancy services to ensure a safe and compliant fall protection system.
Items being procured:
- Miscellaneous Steel Structure (10,000 KG) for Peshawar Aviation Station
- Excavation (62 M3) and Backfilling (54 M3) at Peshawar Aviation Station
- Laying of Concrete CC 1:4:8 (1 M3) and RCC 1:1:2 (7.5 M3) with SR Cement
- Installation of TOR Steel reinforcement bars (500 KG) and Steel Structure Fabrication (10,000 KG) at Peshawar
- Engineering Consultancy Services for design and survey at Nur Khan Airbase
- Dismantling of Existing Civil Structure (1 M3)
- Additional Excavation (6 M3), Concrete Works (1:4:8 - 2 M3, 1:2:4 - 5 M3), and TOR Steel reinforcement (300 KG)
- Waterproofing with PB4 Concrete (7 M2), Cement Plaster (2.5 M2), Non-shrinkage Grout (2 M2)
- Supply and fixing of Anchor Bolts (16 EA), Stone Soling (2 M3)
- Installation and Commissioning of Fall Arrest System accessories (2 EA)
- Additional Steel Structure Fabrication (4,000 KG), Grit Blasting (100 M2), and Painting Works (100 M2)
- Supply of Deformed Steel Bars (500 KG) and Fall Arrester units (2 EA) with detailed specifications
The scope includes site visits, detailed work method submissions, shop drawings, mobilization, execution, testing, and commissioning under PSO supervision. All materials and consumables must be arranged by the vendor. The project requires compliance with safety standards including OSHA and ANSI, and the vendor must provide qualified site management including a construction engineer and NEBOSH certified HSE supervisor.
Eligibility criteria include relevant PEC categories, FBR/ATL registration, and experience with similar turnkey projects. Earnest money and bid security details are as per PSO requirements. The vendor must ensure all safety and HSE procedures are followed and provide a 12-month warranty on workmanship and materials.
The tender closes on 21 October 2026. Bidders should submit sealed quotations by the deadline. A pre-bid meeting at the site is encouraged to clarify technical and commercial aspects. Vendors are advised to get all materials approved in writing by the station incharge before use. Payment will be made on actual quantities supplied and work done. Liquidated damages apply for delays beyond the stipulated 180 days.
