Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the supply, installation, configuration, and commissioning of Senate Hall furniture at the University of Mirpurkhas, Sindh. The procurement covers a wide range of furniture items including wooden platforms, executive revolving chairs, rostrums, wall paneling, acoustic false ceilings, LED smart panel lights, circulate fans, split AC units, tables, carpet tiles, and related electrical and IT cabling works. The project is located at the University premises adjacent to Shah Abdul Latif Degree College, Mirpurkhas.
The scope involves delivering high-quality furniture and fixtures with precise installation and finishing as per approved samples and technical specifications. The wooden platform includes anti-skid laminate finishing and accessibility features. Chairs are to be supplied with fabric or Rexene finish and sturdy frames. Wall paneling requires seasoned portal wood with termite control treatment and polished veneer surfaces. Acoustic mineral fiber false ceilings and LED lighting installations are part of the electrical and interior works. The tender also includes supply and installation of IT-related cabling and power sockets to ensure a fully functional Senate Hall environment.
Bidders must comply with the University's requirements including valid registration with SRB/FBR/GST, a minimum of three years' experience in similar works, and submission of earnest money equal to 2% of the bid amount. PEC category and FBR/ATL status must be verified for the financial year 2025-26. The tender documents are available on EPADS and the University website. The bid validity period is 90 days, and bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS only. Manual bids will not be accepted.
The submission deadline is set for 01:00 pm on January 16, 2026, with bid opening at 01:30 pm the same day in the Conference Room at the University of Mirpurkhas. Bidders should submit a non-refundable tender fee of PKR 5000 via Pay Order. The University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010 (amended).
