Tender Description
Khyber Medical University Hospital & Research Center, Peshawar invites electronic bids through e-PADS from eligible manufacturers or their authorized agents/distributors registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and holding a valid DRAP Establishment Licence. The procurement is for the supply, installation, testing, commissioning, validation, and user/technical training of CSSD equipment with a comprehensive three-year warranty during the financial year 2026-27.
Items being procured:
- Lot-1: Low-Temperature Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) Plasma Sterilizer, 150-litre class, complete with standard accessories and start-up consumables (01 Set)
- Lot-2: Pre-Vacuum Steam Sterilizer, 600-litre class, with built-in steam generator, loading accessories and RO water treatment plant; CSSD double-tank sink unit; instrument cleaning spray gun set (01 Set)
The technical scope includes supply and installation at KMU Hospital, ensuring full compliance with specifications and warranty terms. Bidders must be registered with FBR and Sales Tax Departments and hold a valid DRAP license. Bids will be evaluated lot-wise under the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure as per KPPRA Rules. A bid security of 5% of the estimated cost of each lot in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt from a scheduled bank in favor of KMUH Security Account is required.
Key dates include a pre-bid meeting on 27-10-2026 at 11:00 AM at the Committee Room of KMU Hospital. Written queries are accepted until 27-10-2026. The bid submission deadline is 10-11-2026 at 10:30 AM via e-PADS, with technical bids opening the same day at 11:00 AM. Financial bids will be opened only for technically qualified bidders after evaluation.
Bidders should ensure their financial proposals include the bid security and that all documents are uploaded correctly on e-PADS. It is advisable to attend the pre-bid meeting to clarify any technical or procedural questions, which can improve bid responsiveness and compliance.
