Tender Description

The Directorate General of Archaeology, Government of the Punjab, invites eligible bidders registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms, FBR, and PRA (Active Taxpayers) to participate in the procurement process for supply, installation, and commissioning of electrical appliances and equipment for Harappa Auditorium, as well as the purchase of furniture for Bhera Railway Station. This tender is specifically for suppliers and contractors capable of delivering quality electrical and furniture items in Lahore. Items being procured: - Supply, Installation, and Commissioning of Electrical Appliances & Equipment for Harappa Auditorium - Purchase of Furniture for Bhera Railway Station The technical scope includes the complete supply and installation of electrical appliances at the Harappa Auditorium, ensuring full commissioning and operational readiness. Additionally, furniture procurement for the Bhera Railway Station involves supplying durable and suitable furniture items as per the requirements of the station. Bidders must have demonstrable experience in electrical equipment/appliance supply and installation for public or private sector organizations. Eligibility criteria require bidders to be registered with SECP, FBR, and PRA, and to have relevant experience. The bid security amounts are PKR 380,000 for electrical works and PKR 300,000 for furniture procurement. The CDR or Bank Guarantee must be issued exclusively by the Bank of Punjab and submitted in favor of the Directorate General of Archaeology. The original instrument and scanned copy of the CDR must be submitted before the bid opening. The deadline for technical and financial bid submission is **6th August 2026 at 11:00 AM**, with bid opening at 11:30 AM the same day. Bids must be submitted online through ep.punjab.gov.pk. The procurement will follow the Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure as per PPRA rules 2014 (amended). A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that all financial bids are complete and rates quoted against each entry as per the given form. Incomplete bids will be declared non-responsive. Also, timely submission of the CDR and adherence to the Bank of Punjab requirement will avoid disqualification.
