Tender Description
Sukkur IBA University is procuring electrical items for its Ghotki Campus located in Sukkur, Sindh. This procurement includes a variety of electrical goods such as stranded copper wires of different sizes and colors, false ceiling fans with inverter motors, spare circuits and motors for fans, gang switches with back boxes, miniature circuit breakers, terminal blocks, PVC ducts, and concealed/open boxes. The items must meet the technical specifications approved by the Engineer-in-Charge and include brands like Pakistan Cables, Voldam, Clipsal Zencello Series, Terasaki, and Schneider or their equivalents.
The procurement is managed by the Procurement Department of Sukkur IBA University and follows the Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010 (amended to date). Eligible bidders must be registered with FBR and have valid NTN and GST certificates. They should have at least three years of relevant experience and an average annual turnover at least equal to or twice the estimated cost. Bidders must not be blacklisted and must comply strictly with the technical specifications without using ambiguous terms like 'or equivalent' without clear justification.
The bid security amount is Rs. 50,000 and must be submitted electronically through EPADS along with the financial proposal. Manual bids will not be accepted. The deadline for bid submission is as notified in the tender notice, and bids must be valid for 90 days. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance security of 2% of the contract price and deliver the goods within 30 days after signing the contract. Payment will be made 100% upon delivery and issuance of the inspection certificate from the Indenting Department.
