Tender Description
The National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) in Rawalpindi invites sealed bids for the supply, installation, and fixing of cabinets required for the Medical BA/BE Laboratory at NIASR-NUMS. This procurement is managed by the Procurement Directorate of NUMS located at The Mall, Abid Majeed Road, Rawalpindi.
Items being procured:
- Cabinets for Medical Lab
The scope of work includes procurement, delivery, installation, and commissioning of the cabinets. Detailed specifications, terms, and conditions are provided in the bidding documents. Bidders must submit separate Technical and Financial Proposals. Technical proposals will be opened and evaluated first, followed by the opening of financial proposals of technically qualified bidders.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to have a minimum of five years’ relevant experience in supply, installation, and fixing of cabinets in public or private sector organizations or institutes. Bidders must be registered with relevant tax authorities and be on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) of FBR for GST and Income Tax. A bid security equivalent to 2% of the total bid value is required in the form of Call Deposit or Bank Draft in favor of NUMS.
The last date for submission of bids is 26 July 2026 by 03:00 hours. Technical and financial proposals will be opened the same day at 10:00 hours in the Conference Room, NUMS (ATRI), Adiyala Road (Opposite APS Humayun Road), Rawalpindi. Late, incomplete, or emailed/faxed bids will not be entertained. Bidding documents can be obtained upon submission of a Pay Order/Demand Draft of PKR 3,000/- (non-refundable) in favor of NUMS during working hours.
Bidders are advised to ensure registration on PPRA E-PADS for participation and to carefully prepare their technical proposals to avoid disqualification. A practical tip is to physically submit the original bid security with the financial bid while uploading a scanned copy with the technical bid on PPRA E-PADS to comply fully with the tender requirements.
