Tender Description
The Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design and Heritage Sukkur is procuring furniture for Boys Hostel (Hostel III) located in Sukkur, Sindh. This procurement involves supply, installation, and fixing of various furniture items including single beds with molty foam mattresses, study chairs, modular three-seater units, dining tables and chairs, sofa sets, center tables, iron carts, and office furniture for warden rooms and offices. The furniture is to be made from high-quality materials such as solid oak wood, sheesham wood, engineered wood, and steel with finishes including lacquer and polish. The scope covers detailed specifications for each item, including dimensions, materials, and finishes, ensuring durability and compliance with the university's standards.
Eligible bidders must be registered legal entities with valid NTN and GST certificates, not blacklisted, and must demonstrate relevant experience with similar projects, preferably in universities or government institutions. Financial capability is also assessed, requiring an average turnover of at least twice the estimated cost over the last three years. Bidders must submit a technical bid with documentary evidence and a financial bid through the EPADS electronic system. Earnest money of Rs. 510,000 is required, and bids must remain valid for 90 days.
The deadline for bid submission is 18th May 2026 at 02:30 PM, with bid opening at 03:00 PM on the same day. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS, and original bid security pay orders must be delivered before the deadline. The contract period for completion is three months from the date of award, with a six-month defect liability period. Payment will be made upon 100% delivery and inspection certificate issuance. The procurement follows Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010 (amended).
