Supply and Installation of HT Spun Poles by Multan Electric Power Company Limited (MEPCO) Division Alipur

Multan Electric Power Company Limited (MEPCO) invites sealed tenders from contractors approved/registered by Pakistan Engineering Council for the fiscal year 2025-26 under codes EE 04 and EE 05 (OP) Division Alipur. The contractor must produce attested copies of CNIC of Contractor/Managing Partner/Director. Items being procured: - Transportation, Safe handling, shifting & erection of HT Spun Poles 45' 36' and LT Spun Pole 31' (Quantity: 02.00 M) The tender will be received in the office of Executive Engineer (OP) MEPCO Division Alipur on 09-09-2026 up to 12:00 PM and will be opened separately 30 minutes after closing time (12:30 PM) as per PPRA Rules. Authorized representatives may attend the opening. Earnest money of 2% of bid in shape of CDR (Fresh CDR without limit of validity) is required. The quoted rate must not be less than 20% from analyzed calculated rates or previous approved tender rates, otherwise the contractor will be liable for cancellation and forfeiture of earnest money. 5% security will be retained until successful completion of works. Tender documents can be obtained from 08:30 AM to 02:30 PM (except holidays) from the office of Executive Engineer (OP) MEPCO Division Alipur against payment of Rs. 2000/- (Non-refundable). No tender will be accepted without original earnest money and tender documents. All bidders must be enlisted with WAPDA/PEPCO/DISCOs/NTDC/MEPCO and registered with FBR. Income tax returns for last 2 years and other required certificates must be provided. The tender is issued under PPRA rules and all conditions including no objection certificates and compliance with WAPDA/PEPCO guidelines apply. The bidder must have completed similar contracts successfully in WAPDA/NTDC/DISCOs/Government/Semi Government and reputed organizations. The contract value must be at least 80% of the contract value for which the bid is submitted. Bidders should provide cash or cash equivalents equal to minimum 40% of contract value as earnest money. Electronic bids are not permitted. Contractors must produce satisfactory performance certificates. The tender will be opened in presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your earnest money CDR is fresh and valid beyond 15 days after approval of rates to avoid disqualification. Also, submit all required documents including CNIC copies and tax returns to prevent rejection. Submit sealed bids at the office of Executive Engineer (OP) MEPCO Division Alipur before the deadline.
