Supply, Installation, Integration, Maintenance & Technical Support of Backup Appliance Solution

The SBP Banking Services Corporation (SBP BSC) Karachi is procuring a comprehensive Enterprise Backup and Recovery Solution including backup software, backup appliances, installation, integration, maintenance, and technical support. This procurement is specific to Karachi and Hyderabad sites, requiring delivery, installation, and operational acceptance of a backup solution with 200TB front-end capacity software license and two purpose-built backup appliances with at least 330TiB usable storage each. The project includes migration of existing backup data and policies from Microfocus Dataprotector to the new system, along with advanced training for three SBP resources at an OEM certified facility. The technical scope covers delivery on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis, installation, configuration, and commissioning of the backup solution with 5 years 24x7x365 OEM-backed warranty and support. The solution must meet detailed technical specifications including support for multiple operating systems, advanced deduplication, ransomware protection, encryption, and compliance with regulatory standards. The supplier must provide onsite engineering support for the entire contract period. Eligibility criteria require bidders to be OEMs or authorized agents with at least three years of relevant experience, registered with FBR and on the Active Taxpayer List, with a minimum annual turnover of PKR 900 million in the last three years.
