Supply, Installation, Commissioning & Maintenance of Waste Treatment System for Federal Government Polyclinic PGMI-II Islamabad

The Infrastructure Development Authority of the Punjab (IDAP) invites bids for the supply, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of a Waste Treatment System (Package No. 21) for the establishment of the Federal Government Polyclinic (PGMI)-II located at G-11/3, Islamabad. This procurement is specifically for a microwave medical waste treatment system designed to sterilize and dispose of bio-hazardous clinical waste on-site, eliminating the need for external treatment and transportation. The system features advanced microwave technology with grinding and heating capabilities, a capacity of up to 80 kg/hour, and complies with international safety and environmental standards. Additionally, the project includes the provision of a cold storage cubicle for biological waste with specific construction and temperature control requirements. The technical scope covers turnkey installation including civil, electrical, and mechanical works such as power cabling, equipment distribution boards, ventilation, and drainage as per manufacturer recommendations. The supplier is responsible for all necessary accessories, consumables, and spare parts, ensuring compliance with regulatory and environmental standards. The warranty period is one year from commissioning, followed by a comprehensive five-year maintenance contract inclusive of parts and consumables. Eligible bidders must be registered manufacturers or authorized agents with valid PEC categories, FBR/ATL registration, and relevant experience in medical equipment supply and installation. Joint ventures are allowed with clear designation of lead members. Bidders must submit earnest money in the form of a CDR or bank guarantee and comply with all bid submission requirements on the EPADS platform. The bid submission deadline is 15th July 2026 at 16:00 HRS PST via EPADS, with technical bids opening the same day at 16:30 HRS PST at IDAP Lahore office. Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their technical and financial proposals, ensuring all required documents and certifications are included.
