Supply and Installation of Office Furniture at Sukkur IBA University

Sukkur IBA University invites bids for the supply and installation of office furniture at its campus in Sukkur, Sindh. This procurement is conducted under the National Competitive Bidding Single Stage One Envelope procedure as per SPPRA Rules 2010 (amended). The department requires high-quality furniture items suitable for institutional use, ensuring durability and ergonomic comfort. Items being procured: - Study Chair (250 units) with ergonomically designed seat and backrest, thick high-density foam cushioning, premium-quality blue fabric or leatherette upholstery, heavy-duty powder-coated MS steel frame, fixed scratch-resistant writing pad, and integrated metal book basket. - Side Rack (20 units) sized 42" × 16" × 26", made from premium-quality Melamine Faced Chipboard (MFC) with two drawers (one lockable), a large storage cabinet, open shelf with cubby compartments, metallic handles, smooth drawer channels, cable management grommet, and supported on powder-coated metallic legs. - Office Table (20 units) sized 51" × 27" × 30", constructed from premium-quality MFC with spacious worktop, side panels, full-height modesty panel, under-desk drawer box with two drawers (one lockable), metallic handles, powder-coated metallic frame, carpet glides or leveling bushes, and scratch-, moisture-, termite-resistant surfaces. - Office Chair (20 units) Manager Chair with PP and glass-fiber backrest, fabric upholstery, fixed PP armrests, high-density foam seat on plywood, single-position locking mechanism, gas-lift height adjustment, heavy-duty nylon base, and PU castors. - Visitor Chair (40 units) with sturdy wooden frame, Jacobean polish finish, fully upholstered high-density foam padded seat and back with premium-quality leatherette, powder-coated MS pipe armrests with wooden caps, and protective floor glides. The technical scope includes supply, delivery, and installation at Sukkur IBA University campus. All items must meet the specified dimensions, materials, and finishes as approved by the Engineer In-Charge. The furniture must be robust, suitable for continuous institutional use, and finished with scratch-, moisture-, and termite-resistant surfaces. Eligibility criteria require bidders to have valid NTN and GST/SRB registration, three years of relevant experience, and average annual turnover at least equal to or twice the estimated cost. Bidders must be manufacturers, authorized distributors, or dealers of the quoted products and must comply strictly with technical specifications. Affidavit of non-blacklisting and other standard documents are mandatory. The bid security is 2% of the estimated cost (Rs 205,000). Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS only; manual bids will not be considered. The deadline for submission is 7 days after the publish date or as notified, with bids opened electronically. The successful bidder must provide performance security and warranty as per contract terms.
