Supply and Installation of 08 Solar Pumping Systems (5.5HP) in Gilgit Baltistan

The Water Management and Irrigation Department Gilgit-Baltistan is implementing a federally funded project titled National Programme for Enhancing Command Areas in Barani Areas of Pakistan (GB Component) (NPECA) across Gilgit Baltistan. The project aims to enhance agriculture by improving on-farm water productivity and farmer profitability. A key component involves installing solar pumping systems through authorized supply and service companies (SSCs) or firms. Items being procured: - 08 Nos of solar pumping systems (5.5HP) for various districts of Gilgit-Baltistan The scope includes supply and installation of solar pumping systems suitable for agricultural water management. Firms must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) under category EE-11 specializing in Solar, Solar Energy System, and Solar Installation. Experience in relevant projects is preferred. Firms must not be blacklisted by any government organization and must submit a refundable CDR equal to 2% of quoted prices with financial bids. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 7th October 2026. Bidding documents can be obtained from the office of the Director Water Management & Irrigation GB upon submission of a written application with PEC registration valid till December 2026, renewal fee receipt for 2026-27, CNIC, and NOC for no litigation and no sick project certificate. The cost of bidding documents is Rs-10000 (non-refundable). Proposals must be submitted to the office of the Director Water Management & Irrigation Government of Gilgit-Baltistan, Gilgit. The last date for submission is 14th October 2026, with tenders opening the same day at 11:30 hrs.
