Supply and Installation of 08 Solar Pumping Systems (5.5HP) in Gilgit-Baltistan

The Water Management and Irrigation Department Gilgit-Baltistan is inviting sealed tenders from manufacturers, importers, suppliers, authorized dealers, and eligible supply and service companies (SSCs) or private firms with proven strength and background in Pakistan. The procurement is for the supply and installation of 08 solar pumping systems (5.5HP) across various districts of Gilgit-Baltistan for the financial year 2026-2027 under the GB PPRA Rule, 39 (B) Single stage-two Envelope procedure. Items being procured: - 08 Nos of solar pumping systems (5.5HP) This project is part of the federally funded National Programme for Enhancing Command Areas in Barani Areas of Pakistan (GB Component) (NPECA), aiming to enhance agriculture productivity and farmer profitability through improved on-farm water management. The scope includes supply and installation of solar pumping systems by qualified firms registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category EE-11, specializing in Solar, Solar Energy System, and Solar Installation. Firms must not be blacklisted by any government organization or department. Preference will be given to firms with relevant experience. A refundable CDR equal to 2% of the quoted prices must be attached with the financial bid documents. The number of schemes may be subject to change. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 22nd October 2026. Bidding documents can be obtained by submitting a written application along with PEC valid registration for December 2026, renewal fee receipt for 2026-27, CNIC, and NOC for 'No sick project certificate' and 'No litigation certificate' from the office of the undersigned upon payment of Rs-5000 (non-refundable) during office hours. Bidding documents will not be issued on the opening or closing date. Proposals must be submitted to the office of the Director Water Management & Irrigation Government of Gilgit-Baltistan, Gilgit. The last date for submission is 29th October 2026 at 11:00 AM, with the tender opening on the same day at 11:30 AM. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure all PEC registration and renewal documents are up to date and submitted with the application to avoid disqualification. Early collection of bidding documents is advised to prepare a compliant bid.
