Tender Description
The National Logistic Corporation (NLC) invites qualified vendors to participate in the procurement of hard disk drives for SAN Storage Area Network on Rawalpindi basis. This procurement includes supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of brand new, branded hard disks compatible with existing enterprise storage systems. Items being procured:
- 12 units of NetApp FAS2750 1.2 TB SAS 10K RPM HDD (storage-system compatible)
- 10 units of HP MSA 2060 2.4 TB SAS 10K RPM HDD (storage-system compatible)
- 2 units of HP StoreOnce 3540 4 TB SATA 7.2K RPM HDD (backup-system compatible)
The scope covers delivery to HQ NLC Rawalpindi, installation and commissioning within existing storage systems, and warranty support. The supplier must ensure full compatibility with existing storage platforms and provide OEM authorization and warranty documentation. A minimum 3-year warranty is required with free replacement of defective drives including transportation costs. Bidders must submit technical and financial bids separately under the Single Stage – Two Envelope Procedure. Eligibility requires OEM authorization, NTN/STRN registration, and compliance with all tender conditions including bid security and tender fee. Tender fee is Rs 2,000 and bid security Rs 500,000. Delivery period is within 60 days of contract award. Inspection will be conducted at Rawalpindi or Islamabad at supplier's expense if required. Late delivery charges apply at 2% per month. Offers must be firm, inclusive of all taxes, packing, and delivery charges. Bidders are advised to carefully review technical specifications and submit complete documentation to avoid rejection.
