Tender Description
The Directorate of Social Welfare, Special Education and Women Empowerment Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Peshawar is procuring a comprehensive range of machinery, equipment, furniture, and kitchen utensils under a project funded by the Saudi Government through the Saudi Fund for Development. The total estimated cost is **PKR 72.292 million**. This procurement covers multiple specialized packages including machinery and equipment for administrative and resource rooms, physically handicapped children, visually handicapped children, hearing and speech impaired children, tailoring trade, electrical trade/computer lab, mechanical trade, as well as furniture, fixtures, kitchen utensils, and crockery on a turnkey basis.
The technical scope involves supply of specialized machinery and equipment tailored to various handicapped children’s needs and vocational trades, along with furniture and kitchen items. The procurement is based in Peshawar and requires bidders to be registered with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (KP-PPRA) and to submit bids electronically via EPADS. Manual bids are not accepted. Bidders must provide bid security equal to 2% of the contract value in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) and submit an affidavit certifying this with their financial proposal.
Eligibility criteria include valid registration with KP-PPRA, FBR registration, and relevant experience in supplying similar specialized equipment and furniture. The bidding process follows a Single Stage-Two Envelope procedure as per KP-PPRA Rules 2014. The pre-bidding meeting is scheduled for 11-05-2026 at 11:00 AM at the Directorate office in Peshawar. Technical bids will be opened on 19-05-2026 at 11:00 AM, immediately after the bid submission deadline of 10:30 AM the same day.
