Tender Description
The University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore invites electronic bids through the Punjab e-procurement System from interested bidders including manufacturers, exclusive authorized sole distributors, foreign manufacturers, agents, contractors, firms, sole proprietors, and suppliers registered with income tax, Punjab sales tax on services (PRA), General Sales Tax (GST), and Professional Tax registered firms.
Items being procured:
- Lot 1: Consumable/Cleaning Items
- Lot 2: Electrical Items
The procurement involves supply of consumable and cleaning materials along with electrical items required by UVAS Lahore. Bidders must comply with all tax registrations and provide a refundable bid security of 2% of the estimated price. The bidding will follow a single stage two envelope procedure conducted via the Punjab e-procurement System under PPRA Punjab rules.
Bids must be submitted electronically on or before 14-10-2026 by 11:00 a.m. The technical bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 a.m. through the Punjab E-Procurement System. The URL for bid submission and opening is http://eproc.punjab.gov.pk/ViewTender.aspx. The bid security must be processed with the bid as per Punjab E-Procurement System requirements.
Interested bidders may obtain further information from the Purchase Section of UVAS Lahore. UVAS will not be responsible for any cost or expenses incurred by bidders in connection with bid preparation. If a public holiday is announced on the tender opening date, the tender will be opened on the next working day.
All procurement procedures including uploading, downloading, receiving, opening, evaluating, and awarding will be governed by the Punjab Procurement Rules-2014 as amended. In case of conflict between bidding documents and PPRA Rules, the latter shall prevail.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your firm is fully registered with all relevant tax authorities and that your bid security is correctly submitted electronically to avoid disqualification.
