Tender Description
The Deputy Inspector General of Police Office Quetta is inviting bids for the supply of manufactured vehicles and accessories, totaling 84 items. This procurement is specifically for the Quetta district under the jurisdiction of the police department. The scope includes supplying engine overhauling parts for vehicles and motorcycles, to be provided under a framework agreement for a period of 12 months starting from the issuance of the work order.
Bidders must comply with the Balochistan Public Procurement Rules 2014. Eligibility criteria require bidders to have completed three assignments of similar nature and complexity with a minimum turnover of PKR 3,000,000 in the last three years. Firms must be registered on the Active Taxpayer List and hold a valid Sales Tax Certificate. Joint ventures are not allowed, and firms currently blacklisted by any procuring agency in Pakistan are ineligible.
The tender documents can be obtained from the office of the Deputy Inspector General of Police Quetta upon payment of a PKR 1,000 tender fee. The last date for bid submission is **12 May 2026 at 10:30 AM**, with the tender opening scheduled for the same day at 11:30 AM. Bids must include a bid security of 2% of the bid value in the form of a deposit from a scheduled bank.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that all bid security documents and technical bids are complete and submitted on time, as any missing bid security will result in disqualification during financial evaluation. Timely registration on the BPPRA electronic procurement system is also mandatory for participation.
