Tender Description
The Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Islamabad is procuring a comprehensive range of medicines and medical consumables to support its healthcare services. This procurement is critical for maintaining uninterrupted patient care and ensuring availability of essential drugs and surgical supplies at the hospital.
The technical scope includes supply of various medicines, surgical consumables, and related medical supplies. Bidders must ensure compliance with quality standards and timely delivery to the hospital premises. The tender requires firms to submit a Technical Bid supported by a refundable bank draft of Rs.100,000, an affidavit confirming non-blacklisting, and acceptance of terms and conditions. Additionally, firms must provide a 2% bank guarantee based on last year's allocation and demonstrate at least five years of relevant experience.
Eligibility criteria include valid PEC registration, FBR/ATL registration, a valid drug selling license, DRAP registration certificate, and security clearance. Tender fee is Rs.5000. The submission deadline is strictly by 23:59:59 on 14th June 2024. All bids must be submitted to the procurement office of PIMS Islamabad.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all required documents, especially the bank guarantee and security clearance, are complete and properly attested to avoid disqualification during the technical evaluation. Early submission is advised to manage any unforeseen delays and to allow time for clarifications if needed.
