Tender Description
The Medical Superintendent of DHQ Teaching Hospital Timergara, Dir Lower, invites reputed national manufacturers, firms, distributors, retailers, and authorized sole agents to participate in a National Competitive Bidding process for the financial year 2026-27. The procurement is for the supply of various essential items, medicines, and services required by the hospital to maintain its operations and public facilities.
Items being procured:
- Medicines & Surgical items for SSP Program
- Local purchase of Emergency Medicines & Zakat Medicines
- Public Washroom (Monthly Rent) (Only Non-Muslim can apply)
- Biological Vaccines
- Contingency items (Leftover items)
- Car Parking (Monthly Rent Basis)
The procurement will be conducted under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Procurement of Goods, Works and Services Rules 2014. The scope includes supply of medicines and surgical items, biological vaccines, and contingency leftover items. Additionally, the hospital is offering monthly rent contracts for the public washroom and car parking facilities, with a special note that only non-Muslims can apply for the public washroom rent. The approved rates will remain effective until 30-06-2027.
Bidders must be registered with EPAD and where applicable with KPRA and FBR. Bid security in the form of Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) is required as per item/service and must be enclosed with the bid and uploaded on EPAD. The bidding documents can be obtained from the hospital office during working hours or downloaded from EPAD. Bids must be submitted on original firm letterhead, signed page by page, and quoted in both words and figures. Handwritten or edited bids will be rejected.
The submission deadline is 11:00 AM on 23-09-2026, with electronic opening at 11:30 AM the same day via EPAD in the presence of bidders or their representatives. The technical envelope for the SSP program will be opened on the same date. Separate bids must be submitted for each item/service. The successful bidder will sign an agreement on judicial stamp paper with the Medical Superintendent.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure strict compliance with the bid submission requirements, especially the proper marking of technical and financial envelopes in the two-envelope procedure, and timely submission of both electronic and hard copies including the CDR to avoid disqualification.
