Tender Description
The Aircraft Manufacturing Factory Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Kamra invites qualified firms to submit bids for the supply of Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK) with a quantity of 2000 liters. This procurement is critical for the operations at PAC Kamra located in Kamra, Punjab. Items being procured:
- Methyl Ethyl Ketone (Qty: 2000 Liters)
The chemical must meet detailed technical specifications including clarity, color, acidity, water content, and purity as per ASTM and GC methods. The supplier must provide original manufacturer labels, shelf life certificates with at least 75% remaining shelf life at delivery, Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), and Certificate of Analysis. Proper sealed packing and traceability of the chemical lot number, manufacturing and expiry dates are mandatory.
Eligibility criteria include valid NTN and STRN with copies, active status on FBR Active Taxpayer List (ATL), financial and technical capability, submission of bid security of Rs 95,000 in the form of Pay Order, Demand Draft, or CDR, and acceptance of 10% performance bank guarantee upon contract award. Firms blacklisted or with ongoing legal proceedings or allied firms participating in the same tender are disqualified.
The tender follows a Single Stage Two Envelope procedure with technical offers opened first on 16-09-2026 at 1200 hrs, followed by financial offers of technically accepted firms. Delivery period is within 90 days after contract signing. Offers must be valid until 30 June 2027. Submission must be made to the Directorate of Logistics 751-A, AMF PAC Kamra.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure all technical literature, forms PACB-02A and PACB-02B, and bid security are properly completed and enclosed with the technical offer to avoid disqualification at the preliminary stage. Late or incomplete bids will be rejected.
