Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) Wah Cantt invites quotations for the supply of specialized rolled homogeneous armored plates. Items being procured: - Rolled Homogeneous Armored Plate 6'±2" x 5'±2" x 300+2 mm hardness 207-248 BHN min, UTS 710-820 MPA min, % elongation 20 min, V notch Charpy at -40 C min 54, DEF-STAN 95-13 / Issue 2, Type 2 (Quantity: 3 Nos) - Rolled Homogeneous Armored Plate 6'±2" x 5'±2" x 275+2 mm hardness 207-248 BHN min, UTS 710-820 MPA min, % elongation 20 min, V notch Charpy at -40 C min 54, DEF-STAN 95-13 / Issue 2, Type 2 (Quantity: 3 Nos) The technical scope includes supply of armored plates meeting stringent mechanical and chemical properties as per DEF-STAN standards. The materials must be OEM branded and accompanied by technical literature, chemical composition, and quality test certificates from accredited labs. Delivery is required within 3 months of contract award. Inspection will be conducted at the supplier's premises by authorized representatives, including 5% super check by IDA-GDL. Eligibility criteria require suppliers to be registered with POF and hold valid Sales Tax and Income Tax registrations, including Active Taxpayer List (ATL) status with FBR. Firms must provide a valid registration letter with POF, and unregistered firms must submit a one-year bank statement. Suppliers must also furnish a certificate of cleared professional tax. Preference will be given to firms registered with the Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). The tender follows a single stage two envelope method with separate technical and commercial bids. Earnest money in the form of bid security is mandatory, with specific percentages based on firm registration status. The tender fee of Rs. 500 must be submitted via postal order. Payment will be made on receipt and acceptance of stores through crossed cheque.
