Tender Description
The Pakistan Security Printing Corporation (Pvt.) Ltd, located in Karachi, Sindh, is procuring shock absorbers of various models including NCK-00-7-C, NCK-00-2.6-C, NCK-00-0.7-C, NCK-00-1.2, and RVC50-270-T, all of Make CKD or equivalent. This procurement is part of the financial year 2025-26 plan and aims to enhance the operational efficiency of PSPC's equipment at their Malir Halt site.
The technical scope includes the supply, delivery, installation, integration, and operational acceptance of the shock absorbers. The items must be sourced through authorized distributors of the original manufacturer, CKD, with authorization letters submitted alongside bids. The delivery schedule requires completion within 30 days from the contract award or mutual agreement. The supplier is also responsible for providing formal hands-on training, documentation, and conducting factory and site acceptance tests as per the BOQ and technical specifications.
Eligibility criteria are stringent: bidders must be reputable manufacturers, contractors, or suppliers, registered with tax authorities and active taxpayers. They must not be blacklisted or under any declaration of ineligibility for corrupt or fraudulent practices. Experience certificates must be in the bidder's name, and any personnel previously deputed at PSPC within the last five years are barred from participation for two years. Compliance with PSPC's Code of Conduct and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies is mandatory, with undertakings required.
The bid security is fixed at Rs. 11,000 and must be submitted in the form of a pay order, demand draft, or unconditional bank guarantee enforceable in Pakistan. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS by 11:00 AM on May 12, 2026, with bid opening at 11:30 AM the same day. Manual bids are not accepted. The submission address is the Purchase Department, Pakistan Security Printing Corporation (Pvt.) Ltd, Jinnah Avenue, Malir Halt, Karachi.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure the original bid security reaches the PSPC Purchase Department before the bid submission deadline to avoid immediate rejection. Also, all pages of the tender document must be signed and stamped, and bids must be uploaded through EPADS only. This tender offers a valuable opportunity for suppliers with authorized CKD distribution rights and relevant experience to engage with a prestigious government entity under clear and transparent procurement rules.
