Supply of Spun/PCC Poles for Rehabilitation of 11KV Feeders

Multan Electric Power Company Limited (MEPCO) invites bids for the supply of Spun and PCC poles for the rehabilitation of 11KV feeders under the Electricity Distribution Efficiency Improvement Project (EDEIP) funded by the World Bank. This procurement is specific to Multan city in Punjab province and aims to enhance the efficiency and reliability of the electricity distribution network. Items being procured: - Lot-I: Supply of HT Spun Pole 45' and LT PCC Poles 31' - Lot-II: Supply of HT Spun Pole 45' - Lot-III: Supply of HT PCC Poles 36' - Lot-IV: Supply of HT PCC Poles 36' - Lot-V: Supply of HT PCC Poles 36' The technical scope includes the supply of high-tensile strength spun poles and prestressed concrete poles of specified lengths for the rehabilitation of 11KV feeders. These poles are critical for maintaining the structural integrity and safety of the power distribution lines. The project site is Multan, and the materials must comply with the World Bank procurement regulations and MEPCO standards. Eligible bidders must be registered with the relevant PEC category for electrical goods supply and have valid FBR/ATL registration. Experience in supplying similar poles for power distribution projects is essential. Bidders must provide bid security as per the lot requirements: Lot-I and Lot-II require PKR 1.2 million, while Lots III, IV, and V require PKR 1 million each. The bidding process follows a single stage single envelope system. Bidders can obtain bidding documents free of cost from MEPCO’s website or collect them in person or via courier with a Rs. 2000 delivery charge. Bids must be submitted by 11:00 AM on 11 August 2026 at the Chief Engineer (Development) PMU MEPCO office, Multan. Late bids will be rejected. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your bid security (Earnest Money) is prepared exactly as per the lot you are bidding for and submit all required documents in a single sealed envelope to avoid disqualification. Early submission is advised to avoid last-minute issues.
