Supply of Spun and PCC Poles for Rehabilitation of 11KV Feeders

Multan Electric Power Company Limited (MEPCO) invites bids for the supply of Spun and PCC Poles for the rehabilitation of 11KV feeders under the Electricity Distribution Efficiency Improvement Project (EDEIP) in Multan, Punjab. This procurement is part of a World Bank financed project aimed at enhancing electricity distribution efficiency. Items being procured: - Lot-I: Supply of HT Spun Poles 45 and LT PCC Poles 35 - Lot-II: Supply of HT Spun Poles 45 - Lot-III: Supply of HT PCC Poles 36 - Lot-IV: Supply of HT PCC Poles 36 - Lot-V: Supply of HT PCC Poles 35 The scope includes the supply of high-tensile spun poles and prestressed concrete poles (PCC) for 11KV feeders, lot-wise as specified. The materials must meet the technical standards required for electrical distribution infrastructure rehabilitation. Bidders must ensure compliance with the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers dated September 2023. Eligible bidders should be registered with FBR and ATL, and possess relevant PEC categories for electrical goods supply. Experience in similar supply contracts is essential. Bids must be accompanied by bid security as specified: Lot-I and Lot-II require PKR 1.2 million, while Lots III, IV, and V require PKR 1 million each. The tender documents can be obtained free of cost from the office of the Chief Engineer (Development) PMU MEPCO Multan during office hours 08:30 to 16:30. Bidders may also download the documents from www.mepco.com.pk but must notify MEPCO in writing to receive clarifications or amendments. Documents can be collected in person or sent by courier with an additional Rs. 2000/- for domestic delivery. Sealed bids must be delivered by 11:00 AM on 11 August 2026 to the Chief Engineer (Development) PMU MEPCO at MEPCO Circle Building, Khanewal Road, Multan. Electronic bidding is not permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Public bid opening will occur the same day at 11:00 AM in the presence of bidders’ representatives.
