Supply of Transport, Stationery and Other Items for School Education Department Gilgit

The Gilgit-Baltistan Civil Secretariat Department of School Education invites sealed tenders for the Financial Year 2026-27 from eligible and registered government contractors and firms. The procurement is for the supply of items under the budget heads of Transport, Stationery, and Others for the School Education Department in Gilgit. Items being procured: - Transport - Stationery - Others The tender rates will be valid only for the procurement of the items classified under these budget heads. Only registered firms, dealers, suppliers, and contractors will be entertained. The contractor or supplier must have a complete setup such as a shop, workshop, store, or warehouse in Gilgit with experienced mechanics and sufficient tools and machinery. Partial or conditional bids will be rejected. The procurement committee will physically inspect the bidder's facilities to ensure adequacy of supplies and technical expertise. Prices must be quoted separately for each item but will be decided on a lot basis. Bid prices should be realistic and aligned with prevailing market rates. Incomplete bids lacking specifications or manufacturer details will be rejected. The chairman of the procurement committee reserves the right to accept or reject tenders wholly or partially based on financial rules and conditions. Bidders must have at least 7 years of successful experience with government departments and provide proof via contract award letters and experience certificates. Firms must submit an affidavit on legal stamp paper worth Rs.50/- confirming they are not blacklisted. The tender process will follow GB PPRA Rules-2022. A 5% bid security in the form of a CDR from a scheduled bank in the name of DDO Secretary SED GB is mandatory. Bidding documents can be obtained from the office of the Cashier/Accountant DDO Secretary SED GB starting 8th August 2026. The last date for submission of documents is 24th August 2026 at 11:00 a.m. All items must be supplied to the office of DDO Secretary School Education Office Gilgit with rates inclusive of all taxes and charges. Bidders are advised to ensure their bids are complete and comply fully with the tender requirements to avoid rejection. Physical inspection of facilities is a key part of the evaluation, so maintaining readiness and transparency is crucial.
