Tender Description
The Pakistan Coast Guards, based in Karachi, Sindh, is procuring specialized vessels including a Troops Carrying Vessel (Ferry) and a Fast Patrol Boat (FPB). This procurement aims to enhance maritime operational capabilities for troop transport and rapid patrol duties along the coastal areas.
The technical scope involves the supply of these vessels on FOR/DDP basis, inclusive of GST, Income Tax, Custom Duty, and other applicable taxes. The delivery period is set within 120 days from the contract award, ensuring timely deployment during the current financial year 2025-26. Bidders must submit detailed brochures and specifications along with their bids.
Eligible firms must be GST registered and provide an earnest money deposit of PKR 16 million in the form of a pay order or bank draft favoring the Director General Pakistan Coast Guards. The bidding documents, containing detailed terms, quantities, and conditions, are available at the Pakistan Coast Guards Headquarters on Kiyani Shaheed Road, Saddar, Karachi, from 0900 to 1200 hours on working days.
The tender opening is scheduled for 17 June 2026 at 1120 hours. Bidders should ensure compliance with PPRA Rules 2004 and maintain bid validity until 30 June 2026. It is crucial to prepare a comprehensive technical bid supported by relevant experience and FBR/ATL registration to avoid disqualification.
