Tender Description
The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) is inviting sealed tenders from FBR registered firms and suppliers for the supply of white papers, toners, and office stationery. This procurement is for a period of one year on a free delivery basis to the IESCO Head Office in Islamabad. The tender includes three main items: white papers, toners, and various office stationery items, with contract amounts of Rs. 4 million, Rs. 3 million, and Rs. 4 million respectively.
The tender documents can be obtained from the office of the Chief Engineer (MM) IESCO Islamabad against a non-refundable fee of Rs. 2000. The bids must be submitted on DDP basis without involving any foreign exchange. A bank security of Rs. 50,000 is required as a bid bond valid for 120 days in favor of the CEO. The bids will be opened in the presence of participants or their authorized representatives at the IESCO Head Office on 9th June 2026 at 11:00 AM.
Eligible bidders must be registered with FBR and have NTN and STRN registration. The tender is valid for ninety days, and blacklisted firms by any government agency are not eligible to participate. The tender forms include terms and conditions and specifications that must be strictly followed. Written applications on company letterhead with copies of registration documents must be submitted along with the bid.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that the bid is for the full tender quantity and that no fraction of quantity bids will be accepted. Also, carefully prepare the bid bond and ensure timely submission before the deadline to avoid disqualification. This tender offers a good opportunity for suppliers experienced in office supplies to secure a contract with a major public utility in Islamabad.
