Installation of Street Lights at Different Streets of Lyari Town District South

The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) invites bids for the installation of street lights at different streets of Lyari Town District South, Karachi. This procurement is part of the Engineering Department's annual plan for the financial year 2026-27. The project involves the supply and installation of various electrical components to enhance street lighting infrastructure in the specified district. Items being procured: - Providing & laying main or sub main PVC insulated & PVC sheeted two core copper conductor cable 1.5mm2, 591 Rft - Installation of 10 Amp Photo Cells (National Japan), 135 Nos - Installation of 100 Watts LED street lights, 70 Nos - Installation of Butterfly Moon lights with 40 watts LED lamp, 65 Nos - Providing and fixing GI single arm double arch with GI pipe 2" dia 10 SWG 2ft long with canopy, 70 Each - Installation of ABC connector suitable for 16mm ABC bundle cable, 280 Nos - Providing PVC tape, 10 Nos The technical scope includes removal of old/damaged photocells, reconnection of power supply, and installation of high-quality LED lighting fixtures as per instructions of the Engineer Incharge. The work requires compliance with PEC registration in categories C-6, EE-06 or above, valid NTN and SRB registration, and an electrical contractor license valid from the Electrical Inspector, Government of Sindh (Karachi Region). Bidders must demonstrate relevant experience with similar works executed in the past five years and provide financial soundness evidence. Bids must be submitted online through the EPADS system by 28-09-2026 at 2:00 PM, with bid opening at 2:30 PM the same day at the Office of Superintending Engineer (E&M), 512 J.M New M.A Jinnah Road, Gurumandir, Karachi. A bid security of 5% of the estimated cost and a tender cost of Rs. 2,000 are required. Pay orders for bid security and tender cost must be submitted physically before the closing time. Affidavit of non-blacklisting on Rs. 200/- stamp paper is mandatory.
