Hiring of Third Party Welding Inspection and Industrial NDT Services for Pipeline Laying and Integration

Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) Karachi is procuring specialized third party welding inspection and industrial Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) services for the laying and integration of an 8 inch diameter pipeline spanning 7 km from POD Sujwal to the nearest point of an existing 8 inch diameter pipeline and 28 km from Ayesha POD Surjani. The scope includes comprehensive welding inspection using RT, PAUT, TOFD, DPT, and other advanced NDT methods to ensure the integrity of weld joints on high pressure transmission pipelines, above ground piping, tie-ins, crossings, and related fabrication works. The contract requires firms with valid ISO certifications, PNRA licenses, and active status on the FBR Active Taxpayer List (ATL). Bidders must demonstrate relevant experience and technical capability in pipeline welding inspection, including welder qualification, welding procedure certification, and material inspection as per API 1104 and ASME B31.8 standards. The technical and financial proposals must be submitted separately under the single stage two envelope bidding procedure via the EPADS portal. The fixed bid bond amount is PKR 195,000 in the form of a pay order or demand draft in favor of SSGC.
