Tender Description
The Water & Power Division Skardu invites sealed tenders on a single stage two envelope (SSTE) procedure for the Transmission and Distribution line in District Skardu. This tender is issued by the Water & Power Department Gilgit Baltistan represented by the Executive Engineer W&P Water and Power Division Skardu. Items being procured:
- Transmission and Distribution line in District Skardu
Bidders must submit a complete set of bidding documents obtained personally upon submission of a written application along with relevant documents including PEC valid registration, CNIC, and renewal fee receipt for 2026-27. The bidding documents include a Technical Proposal and Financial Proposal. The bid security is 2% of the estimated cost in the shape of CDR, and the cost of bidding documents is Rs. 10,000. Financial proposals of only technically responsive firms will be opened. The bidding document will be issued to firms/contractors subject to production of 2% bid security in CDR and original CNIC. Bids will be opened in presence of bidders on 19-10-2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening at 11:30 AM at the office of the Executive Engineer W&P Water and Power Division Skardu near Pareshan Chowk Skardu.
Eligibility requires firms to be licensed by Pakistan Engineering Council in the appropriate category valid up to 31-12-2026. Bidders must also provide an additional performance guarantee of 50% of the differential amount between estimated cost and bid cost. In case of holidays, the tender will be opened on the next working day without further intimation. Conditional tenders will not be accepted.
