Tender Description
The Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) invites bids for the transportation of good quality Rock Salt from the Main Mine to M/s. LCI New Dissolving Basin located at PMDC Salt Mines, Khewra. This procurement is for non-consultancy services under a National Single Stage-One Envelope procedure using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with Public Procurement Rules, 2004.
Items being procured:
- Transportation of good quality Rock Salt from Main Mine (approximately 80 working faces scattered inside the mine)
- Quantity: 150,000 Metric Tons
- Delivery Location: M/s. LCI New Dissolving Basin at PMDC Salt Mines, Khewra
- Delivery Period: 365 Days
The scope includes the safe and timely transportation of rock salt within the mine premises to the designated dissolving basin. Bidders must have the technical competence, financial resources, and experience to handle large scale transportation services. Registration certificates for tractors, experience certificates, financial soundness proof, and affidavits regarding litigation and conflicts of interest with PMDC are mandatory for eligibility.
Bids must be submitted electronically through the EPADS v2.0 portal by Thursday, September 17, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Manual submissions will not be accepted. Bid security in the form of Pay Order, Banker's Cheque, Call at Deposit, or Demand Draft must be submitted in hard copy to PMDC Head Office, Sector H-9, Islamabad before the deadline. The bid opening will be held on the same day at 11:30 AM via EPADS.
